Proverbs 8:4 (NRSV)
“To you, O people, I call, and my cry is to all that live.”
Wisdom is Not Hiding
This is a simple but critical message: God is not hiding from you. We often sing songs about “chasing after God,” but that is not in alignment with His nature as revealed in Scripture. Here, we see Wisdom standing in the public square, calling out to every living soul. Wisdom is not obscure or reserved for a select few; it is a loud cry available to all.
God never intended for you to fail. His deepest desire is for you to know the Way and to succeed in your purpose. He isn’t whispering in a corner; He is broadcasting on every frequency. It is our responsibility to hear the call and, more importantly, to heed it.
The Practice
Tuning into the Frequency
1. Recognize the Voice
Learn to distinguish God’s voice from the noise. It is not always the loudest sound in the room, but it is always the clearest truth in your spirit. The Voice of Wisdom doesn’t cause confusion; it brings conviction and direction. If the “voice” you hear brings chaos, it isn’t the King.
2. Silence the Static
One of the greatest challenges of our age is the non-stop noise. There was once a time when television and radio stations went off the air at night, providing a natural silence. Today, we are bombarded 24/7. The enemy floods your senses with “content” specifically designed to distract you from Wisdom’s call.
* Recalibrate: You must intentionally stop and tune your heart back to God’s frequency.
* Pray Regularly: Get out of your own way by getting out of your own head.
* Remember: Replay the “records” of what God has already done—how He heard you, healed you, and delivered you. Memory is the best antenna for faith.
3. Heed the Command
Once you hear Wisdom, do what it says. Obey. * Don’t rationalize it.
* Don’t speculate on the outcome.
* Don’t negotiate the terms.
* Don’t even try to make it “make sense” to your logical mind.
Just let go and follow the instruction. Wisdom’s “logic” is often higher than our “reason.”
Today’s Declaration
“I am tuning out the noise to hear the King. I acknowledge that Wisdom is calling for me, and I refuse to believe the lie that God is hiding His will. I recalibrate my heart to His frequency through prayer and remembrance. I will not negotiate with the Truth; I will simply obey the Call.”
Success isn’t something you find; it’s what happens when you finally listen. Today is a great day to make a Fresh Start!
God bless,
