The Safest Place on Earth

The safest place in the whole world is in the center of the will of God! We know God through His flawless Word. Man can only truly know God because He has chosen to reveal Himself through the infallible Scriptures. When you trust in God, you aren’t just following a religion; you are entering a personal relationship where you are shielded by the Almighty Himself.
There is complete and absolute protection in the Word of God. When you operate within its boundaries, cover yourself with its promises, and make your decisions based on its truth, you are safe, protected, and secure. God rebukes those who think they can “out-know” Him or find a better way than what He has revealed. In fact, those who try to add to His path are found to be liars. If you want the Shield, you must stay behind the Word.

The Practice:

Wearing the Shield

1. The Priority of the Will
Seek God’s will before you make your plans. The key here is the order. We often spend our energy trying to get God to “sign off” on what we’ve already decided to do. Instead, make His will the priority from the start. When the plan is His, the protection is guaranteed.
2. The Power of the Coachable Heart
Be willing to let go of your personal wishes for the sake of the Kingdom. Be honest with God about what you want, but then surrender to His timing, His methods, and His pace. Trusting God means believing that His “No” or His “Wait” is just as much a shield as His “Yes.”
3. Stand on the Unseen
Stand firm on God’s Word. If He said it, walk in it boldly—even if you don’t see the evidence with your physical eyes yet! Faith is acting on the Word because it is true, not because it is visible. Your bold walk is what activates the defense of Heaven.
4. Evict the Spirit of Fear
Fear has no place in the heart of the redeemed. This day and this moment belong to you because you are a member of the royal priesthood, bought by the blood. Stop walking around worried, stressed, and depressed! If you don’t show the world the peace of God, how will they ever know He exists? Everything God does is for your ultimate good and His highest glory.

Today’s Declaration:

“I am moving into the Flawless Fortress of God’s Word. I refuse to make plans without His priority or walk in paths without His protection. I trade my worry for His Word and my stress for His Shield. I am the redeemed of the Lord, and I will walk boldly today, knowing that the King is my Defender!”

The Word doesn’t just tell you the truth; it protects you from the lie. Today is a great day to make a Fresh Start!
